The climate scare revives the biggest business flop ever.

The world is whooshing to nuclear energy. Just this week, Britain announced 18 new nuclear reactor sites in its bid to reNational Post, March 8, 2008 duce its greenhouse-gas emissions. French President Nicolas Sarkozy is on a Mid-East nuclear-selling spree, to cash in on interest in Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Algeria, and Libya.

The Netherlands has lifted its long-standing opposition to nuclear power – even the Environment Minister touts the advantages of next-generation reactors. In Eastern Europe, Slovakia, Romania, Hungary, Bulgaria, Lithuania, Poland, Latvia and Estonia all are pursuing the atom. MORE
